The RCI Metalworks Transfer Case Skid Plate provides ultimate underbody protection for your 5th generation (2010-Present) Toyota 4Runner against on and off-road hazards. Constructed from laser-cut 3/16” steel or 1/4” aluminum, this skid plate is custom-fit to protect the transfer case, third cross-member, and exhaust pipe. It features reinforced edges for maximum strength and rigidity, and a smooth, flat surface to easily slide over obstacles. Steel skid plates come standard with a heavy-duty black powder coat finish, which is also available for the aluminum version. All models include a 3/16” steel cross-member, with the aluminum option also featuring a powder-coated steel cross-member. Installation is quick, requiring minutes and no drilling, as it directly bolts to existing factory attachment points. All necessary hardware and instructions are included. Made in the USA.
