The TransGo PG-2S Reprogramming Kit is engineered for aluminum case Powerglide transmissions manufactured between 1963 and 1973. This kit enhances performance, durability, and fuel economy. The PG-2S kit provides the option for either full manual control or automatic shifting, making it a versatile choice for full-race, street, and strip applications. Key features include the elimination of overlap during the 1-2 shift, resulting in a quicker and firmer shift. It also extends the TV (throttle valve) adjustment range, allowing for earlier shifts and improved throttle response. A significant benefit of this kit is its ability to furnish 400% more oil to the high clutches. This increased lubrication is crucial for preventing clutch burnout and extending the life of the transmission, particularly under demanding conditions. This particular kit is specifically designed for the 1963 to 1973 model years of the aluminum case Powerglide transmission.
