Transmission Adapter Kit for Z32 to LS Engines

The GForce GF-LSZ32-S is a transmission adapter kit engineered for LS engine swaps, specifically to mate a Nissan 300ZX (Z32) naturally aspirated 5-speed transmission to LS Gen III/IV short-crank engines, including 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, 6.0L, and 6.2L Vortec engines. The kit includes a custom steel flywheel, a robust 3/8" steel powder-coated adapter plate, a pilot bushing adapter, and all necessary hardware for installation. The included flywheel is designed for use with 1990-1996 naturally aspirated 300ZX transmissions and features provisions for both naturally aspirated and Twin Turbo (TT) pressure plate/clutch setups. It also uses the stock 300ZX pilot bushing with a provided machined steel adapter and is compatible with the stock 300ZX starter. The Z32 transmission itself is known for its strength and smooth shifting capabilities, making it a suitable choice for LS engine applications. Compatibility Note: This adapter kit is specifically designed for the naturally aspirated 300ZX Z32 transmission. It will not work with a Twin Turbo Z32 transmission due to its larger bellhousing, which positions the starter further from the flywheel ring gear, preventing starter engagement with this flywheel. Installation requires the use of a 300ZX pressure plate/clutch and throw-out bearing. While either naturally aspirated or twin-turbo pressure plate/clutch discs can be used, specific bolt kits for flywheel to crank, pressure plate to flywheel, and pressure plate dowel pins are sold separately (GF-LSFB-SET, GF-Z32PPB-KIT, and GF-LSZ32-D respectively). Some installations may require minor grinding on the transmission surface next to the adapter plate dowels to clear lower bellhousing bolts.
