Description

Constructed from durable aluminum, this pinion brace is a critical investment for any vehicle equipped with 02A or 02J transmissions. Installation is straightforward, though some minor filing of the transmission case may be necessary due to variations in castings. The recommended torque specification for the fasteners is 18 ft-lbs plus a 1/4 turn. This brace is confirmed to fit any vehicle utilizing the 02A or 02J transmission. Specific fitments include a wide range of Volkswagen models such as the Corrado (1990-1995) VR6, Golf/GTI Mk3 (1994-1999) in 2.0L, TDi, and VR6 variants, and Golf/GTI Mk4 (1999.5-2005) in 1.8T, 2.0L, TDi, and 12v VR6 configurations. It also fits VW Mk3 and Mk4 models with specific engine types, as well as VW Passat (1990-1997).
