The TCM2800 Transmission Controller from Powertrain Control Solutions is engineered to be the most powerful and versatile transmission control module available. It supports multiple calibrations, including sport mode and tow-haul mode, along with user-programmable shift points, shift firmness, and torque converter lockup parameters. This controller features 12 outputs, each equipped with current monitoring for precise, closed-loop current control. Its unique PWM outputs can be programmed as active high or low, enabling compatibility with a wide range of transmissions from various manufacturers, including GM, Ford, Chrysler, Nissan, and Toyota. The TCM2800's extensive programmable hardware also makes it suitable for performing body control functions, such as reading engine sensors and transmitting data over the CAN bus to other modules or displays. It can even be programmed for non-transmission functions like engine shutdown to comply with idle regulations. Specific fitments include GM 4L60/65E transmissions (1993+) and 4L70E transmissions (2006-2009). It is also compatible with Ford AODE/4R70 transmissions (1998+). A harness is included with these applications. It is important to note that the TCM2800 does not include a TPS sensor or a CAN connection; these must be purchased separately.
