Optional lines and fittings are included to convert the OEM transmission cooler into a power steering cooler, addressing the often-overlooked cooling needs of power steering fluid, especially during low-speed, high-torque maneuvers like crawling over trails with larger tires. It is made in the USA and includes plastic mounting to isolate heat transfer from other components. While designed for 2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma V6 models, the 2016+ Tacoma models will fit with modification or removal of the plastic air guide inside the grill to allow proper hose routing to the coolers. Installation should be performed by a professional experienced in such systems. The cooler improves transmission functioning and overall performance, extends transmission life, and prolongs the interval between necessary fluid changes, ultimately cutting down on heat-related failures.
