The Iconic Fabrication Offroad Hayden 678 Kit is a precision-engineered transmission cooler bracket system for 5th generation (2010-2024) 4Runners with automatic transmissions. Constructed from durable .125" thick 5052 aluminum, these CNC press-broke brackets are designed for a straightforward, no-drill installation, leveraging factory mounting points for a secure fit. This kit is specifically designed to integrate with popular transmission coolers, including the Hayden 678, Hayden 698, and Derale 13613 models. The Hayden 698 variant offers an internal thermostat for faster warm-up in colder climates, contributing to reduced transmission wear by maintaining optimal operating temperatures. Reducing transmission heat is crucial for extending the longevity of your vehicle's drivetrain. The Hayden 678 Kit option includes the aluminum bracket, installation spacer, all necessary fasteners, the Hayden 678 (non-bypass) cooler, an additional length of 3/8" transmission hose, edge trim guard, and four hose clamps. Users will only need a quart of their preferred automatic transmission fluid, such as Toyota WS ATF or Valvoline Maxlife, to complete the installation.
