Transmission Cooler Kit

The SPELAB Transmission Cooler Kit is designed to be a direct bolt-on upgrade for 2011-2016 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke F-250, F-350, and F-450 trucks. This high-performance cooler addresses the limitations of factory transmission cooling systems, which can become insufficient during demanding conditions like towing, hauling, or performance tuning. Elevated transmission fluid temperatures can lead to premature wear, slipping, and eventual failure, making this upgrade essential for maintaining transmission health. This design offers superior heat dissipation compared to stock tube-and-fin systems, ensuring consistent fluid temperatures even under extreme use. The kit also features reliable pipeline management with black nylon braided hoses and aluminum fittings, providing corrosion resistance and preventing leaks. The materials used are Aluminum for the core, with a TIG-Welded construction and a Corrosion-Resistant Coating finish. Installation is a direct bolt-on process and is estimated to take approximately 1 hour. The kit includes the transmission cooler, mounting brackets, high-pressure lines, and all necessary fittings and hardware for a complete installation.
