Overview

The G Force RCF1-8L90 is a transmission crossmember designed for GM F and X-Body models, including the Camaro, Nova, Trans Am, Firebird, Ventura, Omega, Apollo, and Chevy II.

It fits 1967-1969 F-Body and 1968-1974 X-Body vehicles, and accommodates both SBC and BBC engines. This crossmember is compatible with 8L90E Slip Yoke, 10L80E, and 10L90E transmissions. For proper fitment, it includes the GF-GMATM Transmission Mount and GF-8L90-A transmission mount adapter.

The G Force RCF1-8L90 is a transmission crossmember engineered for a precise fit in GM F and X-Body vehicles. Specifically designed for 1967-1969 F-Body models like the Camaro and Firebird, and 1968-1974 X-Body models such as the Nova and Ventura, this crossmember supports both SBC and BBC engine configurations within these model years. This crossmember is compatible with several modern transmissions, including the 8L90E Slip Yoke, 10L80E, and 10L90E. To ensure a correct installation and proper support for these transmissions, the necessary GF-GMATM Transmission Mount and the GF-8L90-A transmission mount adapter are included. These adapters facilitate the proper fitment of the 8L90e and 10L90e tailshaft housings. Installation is facilitated by the included mounting hardware. The crossmember features a durable black powder-coated finish for enhanced longevity and resistance to the elements. For 1968-1974 frames, it's important to note that the distance between the crossmember frame mounting holes is 30-3/8 inches; users should measure their frame to confirm compatibility before ordering.
