Overview

The GForce RCBE-8L90 is a transmission crossmember designed for 1969-1970 B-Body vehicles. It is compatible with 8L90E Slip Yoke, 10L80E, and 10L90E transmissions.

This crossmember features a black powder-coated finish and includes all necessary mounting hardware. It is designed to accommodate TH400 or 2004R transmissions if the vehicle was originally equipped with a TH400 or has two sets of trans-crossmember mounting brackets on each frame rail. The GF-GMATM Transmission Mount and GF-8L90-A transmission mount adapter are included for proper fitment with these transmissions.

The GForce RCBE-8L90 is a transmission crossmember specifically engineered for 1969-1970 B-Body vehicles, including models like Bel-Air, Caprice, Impala, Biscayne, Electra, Le Sabre, Catalina, Bonneville, Delta 88, Starfire, Delmont, Grand Prix, Wildcat, Executive, Dynamic 88, Jetstar 88, and Kingswood. This crossmember is designed to seamlessly integrate with 8L90E Slip Yoke, 10L80E, and 10L90E transmissions. It also offers compatibility with TH400 or 2004R transmissions, provided the vehicle is OEM-equipped with a TH400 or features two sets of trans-crossmember mounting brackets on each frame rail. To ensure proper installation and fitment for these alternative transmissions, the package includes the GF-GMATM Transmission Mount and the GF-8L90-A transmission mount adapter, which are essential for accommodating the tailshaft housings of the 8L90E and 10L90E transmissions. The crossmember boasts a durable black powder-coated finish for enhanced longevity and corrosion resistance. All required mounting hardware is included, simplifying the installation process. For 1969-1970 frames, the distance between the crossmember frame mounting holes is 54 inches; it is crucial to measure your frame before ordering to guarantee proper selection.
