The G Force Performance Transmission Crossmember is a direct replacement for 1973-1987 GM C10 Pickup Trucks, designed for 2WD models only. It is compatible with a wide range of transmissions, including the 700R4, 4L60, 4L60E, 4L65E, 2004R, TH400, Powerglide, TH350, 4L80E, 6L80E, Muncie, T10, TKO, TKX, OEM T56, T56, T-56 Magnum, T-56XL, Magnum XL, TR6060, and 2WD-AR5. This crossmember serves as both a stock replacement and an LS swap component. Its unique design allows for dual exhaust systems to be routed underneath, facilitating easier header connections while keeping the exhaust above the frame rails. It is suitable for both stock chassis and lowered trucks, providing flexibility for various setups. While it is a direct bolt-in replacement for most transmission applications, utilizing factory crossmember holes on the lower frame rail, some modifications may be necessary for certain transmissions. Accommodating large, heavy-duty transmissions like the 4L80E may require slight modifications, such as repositioning or drilling additional mounting holes. Additionally, shifter linkage clearance might need adjustments for some Muncie applications. Importantly, this crossmember is not compatible with 4WD vehicles and will not work on them.
