Fitment notes indicate that while this crossmember is generally compatible with GM A-Body vehicles from 1973-1977, specific considerations apply. For instance, some 1972 Monte Carlos with a narrower frame may accept this crossmember for TH350 or TH400 transmissions, but offset mounts will not fit.
