The G Force RCC3-400 is a transmission crossmember engineered specifically for 1968-1980 C3 Corvettes. This crossmember is designed to accommodate TH400 Short Tail and 2004R transmissions, offering a direct fit for these applications. It features a durable black powder-coated finish for longevity and resistance to corrosion. Installation is straightforward, with bottom-up bolts included. However, installers will need to reuse the original long horizontal bolts from their vehicle. For optimal performance and vibration dampening, a polyurethane transmission mount is recommended, though the G Force GMTM is sold separately. It is important to note that this crossmember is intended for use with aftermarket exhaust systems. If you plan to use the factory exhaust, there may be clearance issues that need to be addressed.
