The GForce RCAE-8L90 transmission crossmember is engineered for 1968-1972 A-Body hardtop vehicles, such as the Chevelle, LeMans, and GTO. This crossmember is designed to accommodate 8L90E (slip yoke), 10L80E, and 10L90E transmissions, ensuring a proper fit for these modern gearboxes in classic chassis. The package includes the necessary GF-GMATM Transmission Mount and GF-8L90-A transmission mount adapter to facilitate the installation of 8L90e and 10L90e tailshaft housings. Constructed from steel with a durable black powder-coated finish, the RCAE-8L90 is built for strength and longevity. The crossmember features a frame mounting hole distance of 53-5/8 inches; it is recommended to measure your frame before ordering to ensure compatibility. This crossmember is specifically designed for 1968-1972 A-Body hardtops and will not fit convertible models or El Caminos.
