The G Force Performance Products RCNV-400 transmission crossmember is engineered for 1962-1967 Chevy II and Nova models, including specific trims like the Chevy II 100, Nova SS, and Nova Super-Sport. This crossmember is designed to fit with TH400 Short Tail, TH375, and 2004R transmissions. Constructed with a durable black powder-coated finish, this crossmember measures 36 inches in overall length and provides necessary clearance for transmission components. Installation instructions indicate that the G Force label should face the rear of the vehicle, with the center tube's drain slot positioned on the bottom and passenger side. For installation using the provided 7/16" hardware, frame rail holes will need to be enlarged to 1/2". Alternatively, using 3/8" hardware requires new Grade #8 fasteners. Installation is described as easy, with G Force aiming to provide solutions that simplify the process without compromising quality. It's important to note that mounting hardware is not included with this product. A polyurethane transmission mount, specifically the GMTM, is recommended and available for separate purchase.
