The G Force Performance RCAEC2 transmission crossmember is engineered for 1968-1972 GM A-Body vehicles with convertible or boxed frames. This crossmember is designed to accommodate a variety of transmissions, including automatic models like the Powerglide, TH350, TH400, 200-4R, 700R4, 4L60, 4L60E, and 4L65E. It also fits manual transmissions such as Muncie, T10, Super T10, Saginaw, OEM T56, T56 Magnum, TR6060, and others like the TKO series and TKX. For optimal installation, a polyurethane transmission mount is recommended, though the GMTM mount is sold separately. Certain T56 and TR6060 installations may require the GF-GMATM adjustable transmission mount. For 1968-1972 convertibles or boxed frames, the distance between the transmission crossmember frame mounting holes is 47-1/2 inches. It is crucial to measure your frame before ordering to ensure proper crossmember selection.
