The GForce RCBE-700 is a transmission crossmember designed for 1965-1970 B-body vehicles. It is compatible with 700R4, 4L60, pre-1996 4L60E, TKO-500, TKO-600, TKX, and 2WD-AR5 transmissions. The crossmember also fits 1996 and later 4L60E and 4L65E transmissions for LS engine swaps.

The GForce RCBE-700 is a transmission crossmember engineered for 1965-1970 B-body vehicles, including models like the Bel-Air, Caprice, and Impala. This crossmember is designed to accommodate a range of transmissions, including the 700R4, 4L60, pre-1996 4L60E, TKO-500, TKO-600, TKX, and 2WD-AR5. Additionally, it is compatible with 1996 and later 4L60E and 4L65E transmissions, making it suitable for LS engine swaps. Constructed with a durable black powder-coated finish, the RCBE-700 includes all necessary mounting hardware for installation. For vehicles originally equipped with 3/8″ crossmember bolts, the frame holes will need to be opened to 1/2″ for proper fitment. Alternatively, Grade 8 bolts and hardened flat washers can be used to retain 3/8″ fasteners. It is recommended to use a new transmission mount with this crossmember. For 1965-1970 frames, the distance between the crossmember frame mounting holes is 54 inches; it is crucial to measure your frame to ensure correct selection. Minor contact between the floorpan and the crossmember may occur due to body bushing wear or a bowed floor pan, which can typically be corrected with a hydraulic floor jack and wood cushion.
