The detent spring kit is suitable for street or track use and is ideal for anyone seeking improved shifting feel. Installation is simple and takes only minutes. The kit includes two upgraded coil springs and is compatible with various Honda transmissions, including hydraulic DOHC B-Series (B16, B18, B20), cable (YS1 only), all K-Series, D16Y, F20B, F22A/B, H22A, and H23 transmissions.

This kit features upgraded coil springs with over an 80% increase in spring rate compared to stock, providing a more positive and engaging ratcheting feel as you shift through gears. The enhanced tactile feedback helps ensure that each gear is fully engaged and remains securely in place, contributing to a more confident driving experience whether on the street or the track. The process involves removing the OEM spring setting bolts one at a time, installing the OEM ball, the SpeedFactory HD spring, and the OEM bolt, then torquing to specification. This procedure is repeated for all detent springs in the transmission. This kit is compatible with a wide range of Honda manual transmissions. It fits all hydraulic DOHC B-Series (B16, B18, B20), cable (YS1 only), all K-Series, and specifically the D16Y, F20B, F22A/B, H22A, and H23 transmissions.
