Description

The Chevrolet Performance Transmission Installation Kit is an essential component for securely mating 4L80 Series transmissions to LS engines. This kit provides the required flywheel cover and all necessary hardware, including fastener torque specifications, to ensure a proper and complete connection between the engine and transmission. It is important to note that this kit does not include a flexplate. Specific flexplates are recommended based on the crankshaft bolt pattern: use flexplate 12654640 for 6-bolt crankshaft engines with SuperMatic(TM) converters, and flexplate 12636325 for 8-bolt crankshaft engines with SuperMatic(TM) converters. Additionally, all OEM GM production torque converters require a crankshaft adapter for correct installation.
