The Damond Motorsports Transmission Mount is engineered for Mazdaspeed3 enthusiasts seeking to minimize powertrain movement and reduce wheel hop. It features a design where bushings are properly oriented to support the motor and absorb vibrations, allowing for stiff bushings without excessive NVH. This mount is CAD designed, FEA analyzed, and extensively tested on street and track, including use on record-setting Mazdaspeed3 vehicles. Constructed in the U.S.A., the mount utilizes a machined aluminum bushing carrier anodized in gold or black, paired with high-strength steel lower and top bases that are welded and powder-coated black. It comes with all high-grade fasteners and lock nuts, and uses OTS Energy poly bushings available in two stiffness options: Street (70a) for minimal added NVH, and Race (88a) for maximum performance and reduced engine movement. Note that for full mount sets, the rear mount will use race bushings, while bushing selection applies to the side mounts. This transmission mount is specifically designed for the Mazdaspeed3 and does not fit the regular Mazda3. Installation is facilitated by its design, which allows for easier assembly and removal compared to some other brands. The company highlights its durability, stating that you can't make enough power to break this mount.
