The 034 Motorsport Density Line Transmission Mount is engineered to be a significant upgrade over the factory component, offering enhanced performance and durability. It is constructed from void-free and fluid-free high-durometer rubber, specifically 80 durometer for the Track Density version, making it approximately 90% stiffer than stock. This stiffer material, combined with stronger steel mount bases, effectively reduces drivetrain slop, minimizes transmission movement under load, and leads to more direct power transfer and a crisper shifting feel. The Track Density variant is ideal for those seeking a locked-down drivetrain and virtually no wheel hop, though it will result in a noticeable increase in cabin noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH). This transmission mount is designed as a complete drop-in replacement for the factory unit and includes new installation hardware. It is sold individually, with vehicles potentially requiring one or two mounts depending on the specific application. It is important to note that this mount only fits the passenger side of manual transmission 1.8T cars for the B5 Audi A4 and Volkswagen Passat models.
