The JBR transmission mount is engineered to replace the stock cast aluminum OEM transmission perch on the 2010-2013 Mazdaspeed 3, offering a unique vertically oriented design. This mount is available in three durometer options: 70 (Street - RED), 80 (Street/Track - BLK), and 88 (Track/Strip - BLK), allowing you to choose the level of stiffness for your driving needs. Constructed from robust materials, the JBR mount features a 1/4″ plate steel base with a 2″ solid steel stand-off. The core of the mount utilizes CNC-formed steel and 4130 sleeves to house the proprietary polyurethane bushings. Precision TIG welding ensures maximum strength and durability, while a corrosion-resistant powder coating protects the finish. The 70 and 80 durometer mounts incorporate a large, nearly 3″ diameter bushing, which, combined with JBR's polyurethane formula, delivers excellent performance and durability without excessive harshness. For maximum performance and reduced deflection, the 88 durometer version employs a smaller 1.5″ diameter bushing. This harder bushing significantly minimizes movement, leading to improved handling and responsiveness. When paired with JBR's other motor mounts, this transmission mount aims to eliminate common issues like wheel hop and torque steer that have plagued the Mazdaspeed 3.
