Transmission Mount Insert

The 034 Motorsport Transmission Mount Insert is engineered to address the excessive transmission movement found in factory B8 Audi A4/S4/RS4 and A5/S5/RS5 models. The stock transmission mount features a large void in its damping medium, leading to noticeable drivetrain slop during acceleration, deceleration, and shifting. This insert effectively fills that void, significantly reducing unwanted transmission movement. Constructed from T6-6061 billet aluminum and finished with a clear anodized coating for durability, this component is CNC-machined in-house by 034 Motorsport. Its design aims to provide a crisper shifting feel and a smoother overall driving experience by eliminating slop. User feedback indicates that the insert transfers zero additional NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) into the cabin, maintaining a comfortable ride quality. 034 Motorsport includes new Grade 12.9 installation hardware, which is stronger than the original torque-to-yield bolts and allows for re-use. Blue Loctite is also provided. The hardware should be torqued to 30nm with the Loctite applied.
