This increased stiffness leads to smoother gear changes and provides a more precise and settled transmission response during both acceleration and deceleration phases. The design aims to support the often perished rubber bush, mitigating excessive engine and transmission movement that can lead to performance issues. While offering significant performance benefits, it is important to note that using a harder material like this urethane insert can lead to a small increase in Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH), typically most noticeable at idle.
