Transmission Mount Insert

The 034Motorsport Billet Aluminum Transmission Mount Insert is engineered to address the excessive transmission movement found in factory Audi transmission mounts, particularly on B9/B9.5 Audi A4/S4, A5/S5/RS5, Q5/SQ5, Allroad, C8 RS6/RS7, 4M.5 SQ7/SQ8, and D5 A8/S8 models. The factory mount features a large void in its damping medium, leading to noticeable drivetrain slop during acceleration, deceleration, and gear changes. Constructed from CNC-machined T6-6061 billet aluminum with a durable clear anodized finish, this insert aims to improve the driving experience without introducing additional noise, vibration, or harshness (NVH) into the cabin. User feedback indicates zero NVH transfer, though individual experiences may vary. The result is a more connected feel to the drivetrain and crisper, more precise shifts. Installation is straightforward and can be completed in minutes. The insert replaces the factory one-time-use torque-to-yield (TTY) bolts with new, stronger Grade 12.9 hardware provided by 034Motorsport, along with Blue Loctite. This hardware should be torqued to 30nm. The insert is compatible with 7-Speed S-tronic, 8-Speed Tiptronic, and 6-Speed Manual transmissions.
