The AKG Motorsport transmission mounts are a set of two polyurethane (75D) mounts designed to eliminate virtually all transmission movement for effective power transfer. They are made from an exclusive U.S. Military Spec 75D durometer compound, offering performance similar to solid mounts without the harshness.

The AKG Motorsport BMW Transmission Mounts are constructed from a U.S. Military Spec 75D durometer polyurethane compound, designed to eliminate nearly all transmission movement for optimal power transfer. The 75D durometer rating makes these mounts extremely hard, positioning them as the best option for race classes that prohibit solid mounts or for enthusiasts seeking maximum performance without the potential harshness associated with solid metal components. The exclusive polyurethane compound provides the performance of a solid mount while mitigating bracket and chassis harshness, and its elasticity and memory prevent deformation often seen in plastic mounts. These transmission mounts are recommended for RACE / TRACK use, resulting in a high increase in Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH). They are designed as a direct, bolt-through replacement, and hardware is included. Compatibility includes a wide range of BMW models from E30 to F87, including various 3-series, 1-series, 2-series, M3, M4, M2, Z3, and Z4 models, with specific year ranges and exceptions noted for certain trims (e.g., NOT M3 for E30, NOT XDrive for F30/F32/F22).
