The Burger BMS V2 Transmission Oil Cooler is engineered to combat the heat generated by automatic transmissions, particularly in high-performance applications. This heavy-duty, front-mounted radiator significantly lowers transmission fluid temperatures, thereby extending the lifespan of your transmission and improving its performance. It boasts a cooling core with 100% more surface area and a thicker design for enhanced heat dissipation. The V2 version offers an easier installation by connecting directly to factory coolant lines and fits within the front bumper, utilizing existing airflow. This kit increases transmission fluid capacity by approximately one quart and is compatible with most aftermarket intercoolers. Minor plastic trimming inside the bumper may be required for certain models. Installation is described as a direct plug-and-play process, though it is noted that nearly one quart of Dexron VI full synthetic transmission fluid is needed to refill the system.
