Transmission Safety Loop

This safety loop offers a significant advantage by being a quick and easy bolt-in application that requires no drilling or welding, simplifying installation. It is also notably lightweight, weighing approximately two pounds less than many popular alternatives. This loop is designed for broad compatibility, working with a wide range of Ford and GM automatic and manual transmissions, including the T-56XL, T-5, TKO, TKX, TR-3550, TH-350 (with 6' or 9' tail), C4 (Case Fill), and Toploader. The powder-coated finish ensures long-lasting durability and resistance to corrosion. Installation notes indicate that for certain transmissions like the TR3550 and TKO-500/600, a partial removal of the torque arm boss is required. Furthermore, for Foxbody, SN95, or New Edge cars using a Cobra Spec T-45, the DSL-M01 model must be used instead due to driveshaft tunnel clearance issues. A slight modification to the factory exhaust hanger plate may also be necessary on 1994-1995 GT and Cobra models. The kit includes all necessary mounting hardware.
