Description

The Superior K4L60E-L-V is a comprehensive shift correction kit engineered to enhance the performance and longevity of GM 4L60E, 4L65E, and 4L70E electronic transmissions manufactured from 1998 onwards. This valve body kit is specifically designed to resolve common transmission problems including Code 1870, delayed engagements, harsh 2nd and 3rd gear shifts, and 3-4 clutch burn-up. It also provides assistance for worn plates and offers increased lube oil flow, contributing to improved overall transmission performance and durability. The kit is suitable for both regular and heavy-duty applications. Key components of the K4L60E-L-V kit include a PWM Powervalve, which corrects Code 1870 issues while maintaining the converter's normal computer strategy. It also features oversized checkballs designed to revitalize the original worn separator plate, and a new .474 boost valve to replace the worn original OE valve. Installation directions with illustrations are included in English.
