The Superior/Fairbanks PT4R100 PowerTow Shift Kit is specifically designed and tested for demanding applications including towing, fleet, commercial use, street performance, heavy hauling, and high-performance scenarios. This kit provides three distinct levels of performance, allowing you to precisely calibrate your transmission to meet your specific requirements. It actively firms up shifts, increases holding power, and significantly reduces clutch slippage, which in turn leads to less heat build-up. Furthermore, it enhances cooler flow, upgrades lube circuits, and ensures full-time lubrication to critical parts. The installation process is versatile, allowing for in-vehicle installation, integration during a full transmission rebuild, or when upgrading the torque converter and internal components. The kit includes installation directions and illustrations to aid in a successful setup. This PowerTow Kit is compatible with all E4OD and 4R100 transmissions from 1989 to the present.
