The TVS Engineering DL382 S-tronic software is a performance and drivability enhancement for Audi's 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. This upgrade targets common issues experienced with the DL382, including gear shifts at too low an RPM, aggressive or unsmooth take-offs, clutch vibrations, and gearbox error messages. The software offers several stages of enhancement, from a "Drivability upgrade" to "Stage 4." Each stage is designed to optimize shifting strategies for smoother upshifts and downshifts, improved clutch control, and enhanced throttle response. The "Stage 2" software is rated for up to 500 Nm of torque, while "Stage 3" supports up to 600 Nm, and "Stage 4" up to 750 Nm. Features like optimized D, S, and M shift programs, improved paddle response, and launch control are available depending on the chosen stage. This software is suitable for various DL382 variants, including the 0CK, 0CL, and 0CJ, which are commonly found in Audi A4, A5, A6, and Q5 models. The DL382+ (0HL) variant, designed for longitudinally placed engines with up to 500 Nm of torque, is also supported, with the Stage III and IV software options extending torque capacity significantly.
