The Sonnax Zip Kit AODE-4R75E-ZIP is engineered to resolve common problems found in automatic transmissions by effectively sealing critical circuit pressure losses within the valve body. By addressing these pressure leaks, the Zip Kit helps to eliminate issues like burnt clutches and inconsistent line pressure, ultimately restoring proper transmission function and shift quality. However, some applications may benefit from optional drilling and tapping of the valve cover for enhanced installation. The kit is compatible with a range of transmissions including AODE, 4R70E, 4R70W, 4R75E, and 4R75W. Specific fitment applies to AODE transmissions from '96-later and 4R75E units from '01-later. The kit helps to cure forward and direct clutch failure, separator plate cracking, and cross leaks. It is important to note that this kit will not fit 6R80 transmissions from 2014 and earlier.
