Description

The Hooker Blackheart Transmission Crossmember (BHS545) is designed for 1987-1996 Dodge Dakota trucks with a Chrysler Gen III Hemi motor swap and a 46RE transmission. This modular design allows for future transmission changes by only swapping the transmission mounting bracket. It works with engine mounting brackets BHS524 (sold separately) to locate the engine slightly forward, eliminating the need for firewall and brake booster modifications. It also provides clearance for Hooker BlackHeart swap headers and 3-inch exhaust systems.
