Description

The Ford Racing M-7003-M6266 is a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission designed for enhanced performance and durability. Featuring hardened 4615 steel gears and a billet aluminum shifter, this unit offers robust construction for demanding applications. Its 2.66 1st gear ratio provides excellent acceleration from a standstill. This transmission is engineered to fit SBF, 4.6L SOHC/DOHC, and 5.0L Ti-VCT engines. It can be utilized in 1999-2004 Ford Mustangs and Cobras. The transmission includes provisions for both electronic and mechanical speedometers and has a torque capacity of 700 ft.-lbs. Installation may require a shorter driveshaft and a modified crossmember. For SBF 302/351 applications, a Quicktime bellhousing part # 8031 is recommended.
