The COMP Cams Tri-Power Xtreme Energy Camshaft Set (102530) is engineered for 1996-2004 GT Mustangs and 2001 Bullitts, as well as various applications with a 2v 4.6L or 5.4L engine. This camshaft is a best-seller for its excellent all-around performance in street applications. It features quicker opening lobe profiles for increased responsiveness and more area under the curve. The design creates more vacuum, enabling a step up in duration for enhanced performance. COMP Cams recommends using their roller rockers and matched valve springs for optimal results. It operates effectively within a 1000-5000 RPM range. For best performance and to realize the full benefits, other performance parts such as an intake manifold and headers are required, and a programmer upgrade for tuning is essential. The camshaft is made for factory fuel-injected engines.
