It utilizes a unique, hand-made in the UK, triple-layer Trifoam® construction, which consists of open-cell polyurethane foam. This advanced material ensures optimal filtration while minimizing airflow restriction, allowing your engine to breathe more freely. The Trifoam® technology provides exceptional dust-loading properties and a high level of filtration, comparable to systems used in Formula 1. Our testing indicates that this filter can deliver an additional 12NM of torque on a standard 1.4 TSI engine, contributing to improved mid-range power and overall efficiency. This high-flow panel air filter is specifically designed for MQB-platform cars equipped with 1.2 TSI, 1.4 TSI, and 1.4 Hybrid (GTE) engines, including MQB 'evo' variants. Confirmed applications include a wide range of Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, and Skoda models, such as the VW Golf 7 & 7.5 (2013-2020), Audi A3 8V (2013-2020), SEAT Leon III (2013-2020), and Skoda Octavia III (2013-2020), among others detailed in the application list. To maintain peak performance and longevity, Racingline recommends using their dedicated Oil and Cleaner Kit, specially formulated for the Trifoam® filter material. Proper maintenance ensures that the filter continues to deliver its power and filtration benefits for many years.
