The ADD W1 Oil Catch Can is engineered to prevent oil particles from the PCV/CCV system from entering your air intake, protecting components like the intercooler and throttle body. This kit features a dual-port design and utilizes an industry-grade twister baffled filter system, specifically the ADD W1 V3 TRIPLE Twister Chamber, to effectively capture contaminants, moisture, and oil residue. Constructed from high-grade, lightweight 6061 Aircraft Aluminum, this oil catch can measures 4.30" high by 2.50" in diameter. The kit is designed as a direct-fit solution for specific Lexus NX models, including a custom bracket, fittings, and pre-cut high-performance vacuum hose for straightforward installation. It operates as a closed-loop system, inline with the PCV system, to separate oil particles without being heated, ensuring blow-by air condenses in the can rather than returning to the oil pan. This V3 version boasts a special engineered TRIPLE Twister Chamber for enhanced oil trapping capabilities and is fully serviceable. The design aims to keep the intake system clean, potentially raising octane and increasing engine performance through cleaner inlet air, even under hard driving conditions. An easy-drain plug or an optional remote quick drain valve is available, and customizable color insert rings can be purchased separately. The product comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
