The ADD W1 Baffled Oil Catch Can kit is engineered to protect your 2010-2014 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0L Turbo by separating oil particles from the PCV/CCV system. This prevents harmful oil, moisture, and contaminants from returning to the air intake, which can cause carbon and sludge buildup. By keeping the intake system clean, this catch can contributes to improved engine performance and longevity, especially in tuned vehicles. Constructed from high-grade, lightweight 6061 aircraft aluminum, the can measures 4.30" high x 2.50" in diameter. The internal baffle and 3-stage chamber filter system are fully serviceable. The kit includes a vehicle-specific mounting bracket and screws, along with pre-cut high-performance vacuum hoses for a direct-fit installation. An easy-drain plug is also featured for convenient maintenance, with an optional remote quick drain valve available. Customizable color insert rings and carbon fiber options are also offered to enhance engine bay aesthetics. Unlike heated air-oil-separator systems, the ADD W1 catch can allows blow-by air to condense within the can itself, ensuring contaminants are captured rather than recirculated. This design effectively keeps blow-by and contaminants out of the engine, leading to cleaner inlet air and potentially a higher octane rating. The dual-port design connects inline with the PCV system, facilitating efficient separation of oil particles and moisture.
