Trophy Sport Rear Big Brake Kit

The StopTech 83.160.0047.R1 Big Brake Kit is engineered for application-specific, balanced brake upgrades, aiming to provide the shortest stopping distances possible. This rear kit is designed for the 2008-2013 1 Series M and M3 models. It incorporates championship-winning performance features, including stiff calipers and patented removable bridge/floating AeroRotors with specially heat-treated AeroHat bases. This kit features 355x32mm two-piece Trophy Sport rotors with a slotted design for optimal performance. The calipers are forged billet 7075 aluminum ST-40 models, designed for improved pedal feel and modulation while ensuring proper integration with ABS and vehicle dynamic systems. The kit also includes StopTech Street Performance brake pads, suitable for high-performance street use and occasional track days, along with StopTech Stainless Steel Lines. This specific kit is for the rear application and includes an ST-40 caliper. It is important to note that this big brake kit does not fit stock wheels. Proper wheel fitment verification is crucial before purchase, and a minimum clearance of 2mm (0.080”) is recommended.
