Tru-3.0 Wide Path Full Aluminum Intake System

The JBR Tru-3.0 Wide Path Full Aluminum Intake System is engineered to enhance airflow and performance for the 2006-2013 Mazdaspeed 3 and 6. This system features a precisely machined 3-inch inside diameter billet aluminum MAF housing, crafted from 6061-T6 to tight tolerances. It incorporates a factory-style air straightener directly into the housing wall, eliminating the need for honeycomb or pressed-in blades and preventing any reduction in the intake's inner diameter. This design ensures the most accurate signal to the MAF sensor and prevents foreign objects from being ingested by the turbo. The MAF housing is lightweight (9.1oz) to significantly reduce heat soak and shed heat more quickly, leading to lower intake temperatures and increased power output. The anodized finish provides a smooth, durable, and corrosion-resistant surface. The included 3.25-inch Dry-Flow air filter flows 200% more air than the factory filter, capturing particles down to <0.1 micron while enhancing airflow capabilities and potentially increasing horsepower and torque. Advanced tuning is required for this intake system. It is designed as a simple bolt-on application and is compatible with the stock battery box. Fitment may require removal of the outer ECU cover on Mazdaspeed 3 models. The intake uses the stock mounting location for the OEM turbo but may not for all GT Turbos. It fits with OEM and aftermarket top mount intercoolers, as well as front mount intercoolers compatible with conventional short ram intakes. Note: When used with a BNR turbo, ECU relocation or a small battery box is required for proper fitment on the Mazdaspeed 3, and a small battery box is recommended for the Mazdaspeed 6.
