TRU-3.5 Wide Path Full Aluminum Intake System

The James Baron Racing TRU-3.5 Wide Path Full Aluminum Intake System is engineered to enhance performance for 2006-2013 Mazdaspeed 3 and 6 models. This intake system features a substantial 3.5-inch inside diameter billet aluminum MAF housing, precision-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum to tight tolerances. It incorporates an OEM-style air straightener directly into the housing wall, ensuring precise MAF sensor readings without compromising ID. This design eliminates the risk of the straightener becoming loose or ingested by the turbo. The lightweight MAF housing (9.4oz) is anodized for corrosion resistance and superior heat dissipation, helping to lower intake temperatures and increase power output. The system includes a 3.75-inch JBR Dry-Flow air filter, which flows 200% more air than the factory filter and captures particles down to 0.1 micron without requiring oil. Installation is a simple bolt-on application compatible with the stock battery box. However, it requires ECU relocation or the JBR Small Battery Box. The intake utilizes the stock mounting location for the OEM Turbo but may not be compatible with all GT Turbos. It fits with both OEM and aftermarket top-mount intercoolers, as well as front-mount intercoolers compatible with conventional Short Ram Intakes (SRIs). **Advanced Tuning is Required** for this intake system.
