Tru-3.5 Wide Path Full Aluminum Intake System

The JBR Tru-3.5 Wide Path Full Aluminum Intake System is engineered for enhanced airflow and performance in the 2006-2013 Mazdaspeed 3 and 6. This system features a precisely machined 3.5-inch ID billet aluminum MAF housing, constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum to tight tolerances. It incorporates an integrated air straightener, ensuring an accurate MAF signal without the airflow restrictions or potential issues associated with honeycomb or blade-style straighteners. The lightweight housing significantly reduces heat soak, aiding in lower intake temperatures and increased power output. Its anodized finish provides a durable, corrosion-resistant surface. Included is a 3.75-inch Dry-Flow air filter, designed to flow 200% more air than the stock filter while offering superior protection by capturing particles as small as 0.1 micron. This filter utilizes depth loading and a structural screen for optimal airflow and particle capture, and it is washable and oil-free for maintenance ease. Advanced tuning is required for proper operation. The intake is designed as a simple bolt-on application and is compatible with the stock battery box. However, it requires ECU relocation or the JBR Small Battery Box. It fits with OEM and aftermarket top-mount intercoolers, as well as front-mount intercoolers compatible with conventional Short Ram Intakes. The system uses the stock mounting location for the OEM turbo, though this may vary with aftermarket GT turbos.
