Tru-BoostX Gauge-Type Boost Controller

The AEM Tru-BoostX Boost Controller Gauge combines digital accuracy with the ease of use of a manual boost controller. It features an integrated MAP sensor that can measure up to 80 PSI of boost and allows for full programming using the faceplate buttons, eliminating the need for a laptop. This gauge offers the ability to program two distinct boost levels, plus a time-based scramble boost setting activated by a switched input. You can also disable the controller function to use the gauge solely for display purposes. The wastegate open pressure is adjustable, which is beneficial for reducing boost spikes and improving spool-up. The Tru-BoostX can display boost levels in PSIg, BAR, or kPa, and its 24 outer LEDs can be scaled to match peak boost levels for a visual sweeping effect. Safety and monitoring are enhanced with built-in overboost protection that shuts off the boost control solenoid until manually reset, and integrated error protection alerts you to a faulty solenoid. The 24 green LEDs can be programmed to flash at specific boost pressures, serving as an overboost warning. A ground output is included for an optional external warning light. The gauge also allows you to view and clear the peak boost level with the press of a button. For advanced monitoring and logging, the Tru-BoostX features AEMnet CAN bus connectivity. This allows for the output of 13 data channels over a simple 2-wire connection, including boost pressure, peak boost, target boost, scramble duty, overboost status, wastegate crack pressure, and solenoid status.
