The Kloc Fabrication Tru-Cool 40K Installation Bundle is a comprehensive kit engineered for the 1988-1998 GMT400 C/K trucks, providing a direct upgrade path for your transmission cooler. The included cooler is from Capital Core Transmissions and matches the original's quality and rating. The bundle also contains the patent-pending Notched Hood Latch Bracket, along with all the essential fittings and nylon braided lines required for installation tailored to your specific application. Premium grade fittings, many of which are Russell or Bowler brand, are sourced for safety and convenience. Installation details include various transmission fitting options such as 1/4 NPSM for 4L60E, 4L65E, 700R4, TH350, and TH400 transmissions, and specific fittings for 4L80E/4L70E models depending on the year. The lines are supplied at 10ft in length with only one fitting end installed, allowing users to cut and route them to their exact specifications. The kit includes extra AN swivel fittings (2 each of 90-degree and straight) to accommodate different routing needs. While the transmission cooler itself is not covered by a warranty from Kloc Fabrication due to the variables involved, they offer an at-cost replacement for coolers that fail within six months of delivery. The line kits, however, are protected by a 1-year warranty.
