Tru-Street 4L80E Transmission Package

The Bowler Tru-Street 4L80E transmission package is engineered for LS-series engines including LS1, LS2, LS7, LSA, and LSX. It is capable of handling up to 650 ft-lbs of torque, making it an excellent choice for high-performance applications. This package includes a fully blueprinted and dyno-tested transmission featuring all new steels, seals, gaskets, upgraded high-energy friction plates, new OEM solenoids, new overdrive and low roller sprags, an updated 34-element intermediate sprag, and a billet 300M hardened input shaft for enhanced durability. The included 265mm single-disc lock-up torque converter boasts a stall range of 2400-3000 RPM and features braised fins and a billet apply piston. The transmission details also highlight an updated 34-element intermediate sprag, a wide kickdown band, increased pressure for improved clutch life, an updated boost valve system, and improved lubrication. The package comes with a 24-month limited/conditional warranty with a two-year grace period that requires activation. Included accessories consist of a new SFI flexplate, converter dust cover (may need trimming for LS motors), OEM fill tube and dipstick, an Energy Suspension transmission mount, an external transmission cooler with -6AN fittings, and converter bolts. It also includes 14 quarts of Royal Purple Max ATF and input/output speed sensors. Note that this package does not include a driveshaft or crossmember. An adapter kit is available for newer LT1, LT4, and LT5 motors at an additional cost. Electronic speed sensors are standard, but a mechanical speedometer setup can be purchased separately if required. Custom builds require completion of a tech sheet form, and a 4-6 week lead time applies to all custom automatic transmissions.
