Tru-Time Adjustable Cam Gear

This gear is constructed from durable 6061-T6 billet aluminum and features a hard-anodized finish on its CNC-machined, precision-cut gear teeth. These features ensure longevity and prevent premature wear on the camshaft belt. Users can advance or retard the cam profile in one-degree increments using the true laser-etched markings on the leading edge of the gear. This adjustability is particularly beneficial for engines that have been milled, are equipped with forced induction, high compression, or aftermarket competition cams. The included Grade-8, six-point hex bolts are designed to withstand repeated adjustments, and each gear features an integral washer flange for improved load distribution. Recommended cam gear settings are included to aid in installation. This adjustable cam gear is specifically designed for Honda D-Series Engines, including the D16Y7 and D16Y8 with a 5-bolt configuration. It is legal for sale or use on emissions-controlled, uncontrolled, and racing vehicles as it does not affect vehicle emissions.
