The Racingline Magnetic Oil Sump Drain Plug (VWR180004) offers advanced protection for 1.8L and 2.0L TSI EA888 Gen 3 and Gen 3B engines, particularly those equipped with plastic oil pans. This is especially beneficial during high-demand driving conditions where increased debris generation is common. Engineered with Racingline's 'True-Lock' fitting system, the plug installs with a simple quarter-turn, and a PolyCarbonate retaining ring ensures a consistently tight and sealed connection. The CNC-machined plug is constructed from billet 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum with a gloss-black anodized finish, featuring a white laser-etched RacingLine logo. The kit includes the magnetic drain plug, two rubber O-ring seals, a PolyCarbonate Retaining Clip, and two options for locking washers to accommodate earlier and later sump designs.
