Constructed from heat-treated billet steel, both sprockets in this set are built for longevity. The "Z" chain features a 0.250" roller diameter, which significantly reduces friction compared to standard high-performance chains. This "Z" chain also boasts approximately 33% greater overall strength, with a press-fit center link design that enhances load distribution. The links are heat-treated and processed to maximize breaking strength while maintaining ductility and toughness, and are pre-stressed to increase fatigue life.
