The Weigh Safe True Tow Weight Distribution Hitch - Middleweight is an adjustable hitch designed for trailer towing. It features a built-in hydraulic gauge that measures both tongue weight and distributed tongue weight, aiming for 10-15% of the Gross Trailer Weight (GTW) for proper distribution. This hitch incorporates 4-Area Anti-Sway Technology with sway connection points in the head assembly and trailer bracket for enhanced sway control. It also has a live adjustment system with an internal pivot point for easier installation and adjustments. The hitch is made of high-grade steel and includes a 2-5/16" stainless steel tow ball. It has an adjustable 10-inch drop and a 2.5-inch shank, rated for a 12,500 lbs GTWR (Gross Trailer Weight Rating). The product comes with a keyed-alike hitch pin, coupler lock, and padlock. It's designed to truly distribute tongue weight between the tow vehicle's back axle and the trailer axles, returning lost weight to the front axle for a safer towing experience. The manufacturer also provides a DTW (distributed tongue weight) tool application for smartphones to assist with accurate system setup.
