TrueFlex Sensor Harness

The IE TrueFlex Sensor Harness is a critical component for unlocking the full potential of your VW or Audi MQB Gen 3 engine with IE's TrueFlex ECU tunes. This plug-and-play kit allows your vehicle to seamlessly transition between different fuel blends, from standard 91 octane pump gas to pure E85, by sending real-time ethanol content data directly to the ECU. This enables dynamic adjustments to ignition timing and fuel mapping, optimizing performance and efficiency across a wide range of fuel compositions. The kit comes complete with everything needed for installation, including the wiring harness, a 2-amp fuse, an ethanol sensor, quick connect couplers, and hose clamps. Engine compatibility is specific to VW MK7/MK7.5 and Audi 8V/8V.5 2.0T EA888 Gen 3 engines. It is crucial to note that this harness will not function without a corresponding IE TrueFlex ethanol tune. While the kit can be installed prior to flashing the tune, the stock ECU will ignore the input until the new calibration is applied. Running ethanol without the correct TrueFlex tune is not advised. Specific vehicle support includes various model years of the Audi S3, A3 (Quattro 2.0T only), VW Golf R, GTI, and GLI. Users should be aware that tuning support is primarily for North American (NA) ECUs. Rest-of-world (ROW) ECUs, particularly early European Simos12 ECUs (5G0906259), may not be fully supported. It is highly recommended to contact IE Support to verify compatibility for ROW ECUs before purchasing.
